SHAWNEE- St. Gregory's University (2-1) once again played solid as they took down Doane University (Neb.) 4-0.

The Cavs played well all around as they out-shot the Tigers (0-3-1) 17-6, and 8 of the Cavs shots were on target. The Cavaliers defense only allowed the Tigers to take four shots on goal, all of which were turned aside by Mallory Adams (SR/Edmond, Okla.). Adams records her second shutout of the season so far, and she has only allowed one goal in the Cavs three games played, giving her a stellar .875 save percentage.

Hanna Arthur (FR/Yukon, Okla) led the Cavaliers offensive attack, by scoring two goals. Jessica Thompson (SR/Broken Arrow, Okla.) and Priscilla Armenta (JR/Richardson, Texas) scored SGU's other two goals in the contest. Sara Solano (JR/Houston, Texas) recorded the assist on each of Arthur's goals and also picked up an assist on Thompson's early goal, to give her a total of three assists in the game. Concepcion Laborin (SO/Windsor, Calif.) also recorded an assist on Armenta's goal.

The Cavaliers will now prepare to face Wiley College on the road on Sept. 8, at 3 PM.
