KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Another strong performance by the ladies of St. Gregory's Golf propelled them into 2nd place at the Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate being held at The Deuce at The National Golf Club in Kansas City, MO. This is the second runner-up finish for the ladies in as many weeks.

The ladies sat in 2nd alone after round one on Monday, two shots clear of the 3rd place team. An improvement on their day one score saw the Cavaliers increase that margin to eight by the end of round two.

Alexis Tallant (SR/Ft. Worth, Texas) was the best finisher for St. Gregory's, placing 10th by posting a second round 84 after a slow start in round one. Rylie Eller (SO/Woodward, Okla.) finished in 11th for the tournament, just missing out on her second top-10 in a row. Next for the Cavaliers was Taylor Greteman (SR/Moore, Okla.) who, like her fellow senior, improved upon her day one score to finish 12th for the tournament. Carina Hernandez (FR/Mission, Texas) also made a move on day two by finishing six strokes better than her first round score to move into a tie for 14th. Megan Buchanan (JR/Antlers, Okla.) rounded out the scoring for the Cavs with a T25 finish.
The women will finish up their season at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship being held April 24th and 25th at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City.
