MUSKOGEE – Araceli Flores posted her fifth career hat trick, and St. Gregory's snapped a two-game slide with a convincing 7-0 win over Bacone in Muskogee. The Cavaliers moved within a game of third place in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings.

Flores, a senior from Madill, bookended a four-score first half for SGU with goals in the 22nd and 45th minutes. Beth McHale and Abi Housecroft provided the other two scores.

Housecroft made it a 5-0 game early in the second with her eighth goal of the season, and Kelsea Bandy followed with her second-career goal off a pass from Angelica Daggs just minutes later. Flores' goal in the 75th minute – her 10th of the season – completed the scoring for the visitors.

SGU outshot the Lady Warriors, 27-1, for the contest. Flores finished with a game-high seven attempts. Both Daggs and Jessica Thompson tallied two assists.

Jena Flewelling and Mallory Adams combined for the shutout – the team's fifth of the season. Flewelling turned away the home team's only on-target attempt.

St. Gregory's (6-6, 2-3 SAC) hosts Oklahoma City Tuesday. Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Fr. Victor Roberts Field.
