SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – No. 20 John Brown (Ark.) posted its sixth consecutive shutout victory Saturday – a 9-0 blanking of St. Gregory's at Alumni Field. The Golden Eagles improved to 4-0 in Sooner Athletic Conference play, while the Cavaliers fell to 1-3.

JBU's Kristen Howell notched her second hat trick in as many games, scoring a career-high four goals. She connected on three of her team's first four scores as the Golden Eagles raced out to a 5-0 advantage at intermission. Four different JBU players scored in the final 45 minutes for the final margin.

The home team had a decided 28-2 advantage in total shots. The Cavs were unable to produce an on-target attempt. Abi Housecroft and Araceli Flores accounted for SGU's shots.

The Cavs' Jena Flewelling went all 90 minutes in goal. She tallied four saves.

St. Gregory's (5-6, 1-3 SAC) travels to Bacone next Saturday. Game time is set for 1 p.m. in Muskogee.
